Nursery Room Leader (Baby Room) 27000 Full-Time 40 hours per week

Were working with a warm and well-respected nursery rated Good by Ofsted set within a beautiful converted Victorian house on a quiet residential street. This setting is known for its calm creative and homely environmentand theyre now seeking a caring and confident Room Leader to take the lead in their baby room.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to take the next step or continue developing their leadership skills within a close-knit values-led team. The nurserys large airy rooms and generous outdoor space support a play-rich approach to learning with strong emphasis on relationships emotional wellbeing and early development.

What Youll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with babies in a nursery or early years setting
  • Confidence in leading a team and supporting colleagues development
  • A secure understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A calm patient and responsive approach to young childrens needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room with confidence and care
  • Build trusting relationships with babies families and colleagues
  • Create a warm inclusive atmosphere that supports each childs emotional and developmental needs
  • Plan and deliver sensory-rich age-appropriate activities
  • Observe assess and tailor learning experiences based on each childs development
  • Model and uphold high standards in safeguarding health & safety and wellbeing
  • Support and mentor other team members promoting reflective and collaborative practice
