Core Responsibilities:
- Perform safety inspections and basic maintenance services including oil changes fluid exchanges tire rotations etc.
- Work alongside a senior technician to learn to diagnose maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Perform work specified on the repair order under the supervision of an experienced technician.
- Inform the Service Advisor of additional repairs needed providing an estimate of time needed to complete them.
- Document inspection findings recommended services and all work performed.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Automotive schooling or 6 months of entry-level technician experience at an independent shop or dealership required.
- ASE and/or factory certifications are a plus!
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and efficient with a strong work ethic.
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Hours and Work Environment:
We are looking for candidates with flexible availability between 7am and 6pm Monday Friday and 7am and 5pm on Saturdays. Our technicians enjoy a state-of-the-art climate controlled shop environment.
