Are you ready to lead a team of talented automation engineers and drive innovation in process automation We are seeking an Automation Group Manager to join our dynamic division and perform the below tasks:
- Lead and mentor a team of Automation Engineers fostering professional growth and excellence
- Oversee automation projects from concept to completion ensuring compliance with customer requirements GEA standards and industry best practices
- Collaborate closely with clients negotiating project scope and timelines to deliver outstanding results
- Provide expert guidance to sales and project teams including project estimations and technical support
- Ensure all automation quotations and project executions meet our high standards for quality budget and deadlines
- Drive optimization of engineering tools methods and project execution processes
- Proactively assess and mitigate risks throughout project lifecycles
- Make key decisions on product customization during project execution
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Masters degree in Automation Engineering
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP; Prince2 etc.)
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in Automation/Electrical roles
- Extensive background in project execution and management
- Leadership experience: skilled in guiding and mentoring teams
- Languages: English (B2/C1); French Portuguese or German are highly valuable
- Strategic planning and organizational skills
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality excellence
- Customer-centric approach (internal and external)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
