About the role:
This position provides diverse clinical experience with the chance to work across a variety of clinical areas including Intensive care outpatients medical and surgical ward and emergency department. Being a Level 1/2 position you would have significant support from the Physiotherapy team and Physiotherapy Service manager. There are ongoing opportunities for learning and development with formal supervision and mentoring provided. Professional development is embedded within this role and includes regular in-services journal clubs and skill education sessions.
The Physiotherapy team is part of a welcoming multidisciplinary team who all work collaboratively to create a positive team culture. You would be a valued and respected health professional within the team making an enormous impact on the health of the community. If you are wanting to continue to develop your physiotherapy skills within an acute hospital setting this would be the perfect opportunity! Where youll be working:
Manning Base Hospital serves the local communities of Taree Forster Tuncurry and the surrounding districts and has undergone significant redevelopment following a $140 million investment with a further $40M planned.
Manning Base Hospital has 180 beds with all the specialities you would expect of a Rural Hospital providing you with a diverse mix of elective and emergency cases with support from our tertiary centre (John Hunter Hospital).
