Job Description
Join our team! A facility located in Tyler is seeking to hire an entry level welder
Pay range: $22-$24 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Pay range: $22-$24 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG TIG and stick welding on structural steel components.
- Follow welding procedures and specifications to meet project and quality requirements.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company standards.
- Assist with cutting grinding and cleaning materials in preparation for welding.
- Set up welding stations and adjust equipment based on job-specific instructions.
- Support layout and assembly of components for welding
- Inspect finished welds to identify and correct defects such as cracks or porosity
- Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and tools
- Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and project leads
- High School Diploma
- Certified welding program or vocational training in welding preferred
- Familiarity with basic welding techniques and tools
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
