Job Description
Job Title: Construction Line Technician McCreary County
Department: Construction McCreary County
Reports To: Construction Crew Foreman
Type: Non-Exempt
Purpose of Position
To serve members by providing continuous and reliable electric service by installing maintaining and repairing the Cooperatives distribution system.
Minimum Job Specifications
These specifications are not intended to cover all aspects of the position as the scope and duties may change or be altered based on the business needs of the cooperative.
High school diploma or equivalent plus be a journeyman lineman.
Required to possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL license (unrestricted preferred).
Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and/or state law.
Required to live within 45 minutes (using Google Maps) of the McCreary County office and will be required to become part of the on-call rotation for the McCreary County Service Team.
Ability to interact with members on a regular basis and answer customer inquiries.
