Job Description
Position Description:
Are you a backend developer with a passion for integration and cloud-native solutions Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and team spirit are key Were looking for an Integration Backend Developer to join our consultancy team and help our clients build robust scalable and secure integration platforms using the latest Azure technologies.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Break down Epics into actionable user stories.
Ensure grooming is completed using C4 modeling where needed.
Define preconditions and story dependencies.
Participate in Groom Kick-off meetings for story point estimation.
Implement code according to defined standards and best practices.
Conduct peer code reviews.
Perform unit and integration testing.
Prepare documentation when needed to support delivery and maintainability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 5 years experience in the role
Enjoy the mix of working both at the client office and at CGI
Be engaged in building the CGI Integration area
Previous experience as consultant
Fluent in English
Required Skills:
A strong team-first mindset you support your colleagues and share knowledge freely.
Proficiency in C# and backend development.
Hands-on experience with:
Azure Container Apps (ACA)
Azure Functions
Azure API Management (APIM)
Azure Storage Accounts
Handlebars templating
Azure log tracking and monitoring
GitHub Release Pipelines & Repository management
Bicep for infrastructure as code
Beneficial Skills:
Experience working in Agile Ways of Working (WoW)
Knowledge of Azure cost optimization
Familiarity with Workflow Logic Apps
Understanding of Microservices Architecture
