Your Tasks

Demand Planning

  • Collecte Information and Assumptions about events activities in relation to promotions product launches customer/distribution changes that form important part of demand plan.
  • Manage Portfolio Life cycle: Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage portfolio lifecycle such as new product launches packaging changes phase-in/phase-out and product discontinuation. Ensure that demand is appropriately forecasted and maintained in all circumstances.
  • Generate and Maintain the Forecast: Demand planner has sufficient knowledge to be able to generate and maintain statistical forecasts in SAS Forecast Studio supported by Demand Analyst. APO DP remains a statistical forecast tool unless SAS is not yet deployed to cover the portfolio. Combining incremental impactors Demand Planner finalizes the total volume forecast.
  • Manage the information flows from sales and marketing via regular meetings in order to identify by product the underlying sales trends and incorporate the effects of promotional activity and advertising activity on that sales volume

Supply Planning

  • Analyze and evaluate the supply plan to satisfy customer needs considering the network complexity and the supply constraints
  • Establish stock policies for Finished Goods. Periodically review the stock level of the domestic and the receiving markets to pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations
  • Maintain and monitor an appropriate safety stock level by article
  • Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information - Highlighting all supply issues - Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade-offs - Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable In accordance with the Business targets

Your Profile

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university preferably in Commerce Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Prior experience in the FMCG sector is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or OMP systems
  • Fluent in both French and English (verbal & written)
