Job Description

EMCD is a global Web3 infrastructure company building solutions at the intersection of fintech mining and decentralized technologies. Were expanding across multiple regions and looking for a seasoned Chief of Editorial to lead our editorial direction and elevate our voice across markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and scale the EMCD global editorial function processes content standards planning and brand voice.
  • Own the full editorial cycle: from ideation and brainstorming to publishing distribution and post-launch analysis.
  • Oversee all text-based content formats from analytics and thought leadership to product storytelling blog posts long reads interviews video/podcast scripts and social copy.
  • Align priorities and messaging with BD PR Marketing and Product teams.
  • Ensure high-quality consistent content in both English and Russian.
  • Build and manage a hybrid team of internal writers and freelancers: hiring briefing and daily management.
  • Collaborate with domain experts across Web3 fintech AI and traditional tech to co-create impactful content.
  • Monitor key content metrics and continuously optimize for performance and relevance.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience as a Chief Editor / Head of Content / Content Lead in tech or media.
  • Exceptional English and Russian writing and editing skills (C2 level) with a strong editorial sense and distinctive tone.
  • Deep understanding of or strong interest in Web3 crypto and fintech ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in building editorial processes from the ground up in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable working across content formats: from long-reads and digests to email newsletters scripts event assets and social media.
  • Skilled in managing content teams and collaborating with brand/design functions.
  • Hands-on experience with Notion Jira Google Docs and AI-powered content tools.

Challenges:

  • Building a global editorial team in a rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.
  • Balancing news cycles B2B goals and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Working cross-functionally with teams across 5 regional markets.
  • Launching a new tone of voice for EMCD in close collaboration with brand leadership.
  • Setting up a consistent content pipeline in both English and Russian.
  • Developing content guidelines and scaling them across markets and languages.
