Job Summary

The Massachusetts General Brigham Department of Medicine Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is seeking an Attending Physician trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine interested in a career in academic medicine.

The successful candidate will have clinical training and experience in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with experience working in the acute care hospital and ambulatory care setting. The position is for an attending physician who will provide care in the ambulatory clinic and hospital-based inpatient services inclusive of intensive care units and inpatient consult services.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an outstanding group of clinicians researchers educators and trainees and to interact with the world-class clinical and research programs at the Massachusetts General Hospital. The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine provides comprehensive care for patients with all types of pulmonary disease and critical illness with active subspecialty programs in pulmonary hypertension cystic fibrosis lung transplantation interstitial lung disease and interventional pulmonology. There are also opportunities to collaborate with clinical and translational research programs in the Division and to supervise and teach residents and fellows.



Qualifications

Candidates must meet the requirements for appointment at the rank of Instructor Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School with experience training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have a Doctor of Medicine degree and eligible for Board Certification in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine.
