The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level (C) Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mesa AZ.
Position Responsibilities:
Extensive knowledge of building codes regulations and safety procedures.
Maintains awareness of code adherence and provides status to management of any identified issues
Has specialized knowledge in commercial machinery. Is able to interpret highly complex blueprints and schematics
Provides guidance to less experienced employees
Maintains awareness of schedules and deadlines and provides status to management
Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of complex problems
Has extensive knowledge in all aspects of repair and maintenance of plant and office facilities equipment
Provides technical expertise in the evaluation of products or equipment and makes recommendations
Has specialized knowledge in the use of all hand and power tools to construct renovate and repair facilities and equipment
Provides training to peers and/or customers on the use of equipment
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years experience in facilities maintenance or construction.
Experience reading basic wiring diagrams and engineering drawings and documents.
3 years experience working with hand and power tools to construct renovate and repair facilities and equipment.
3 years experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
3 years experience in CNC or Autoclave maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active Security Clearance Preferred
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate5 years related work Bachelor2 years related work etc.)

Salary Range for Level C: $56950 to $77050
