Job Overview
Portland based cannabis company seeks an experienced Delivery Driver to be directly responsible for delivering product throughout the state of Oregon. Ideal candidates will have delivery driver experience be compliance obsessed and possess a keen attention to detail. This is a full-time benefitted position. This position may require occasional overnight deliveries and weekends.
What Youll Do:
- Deliver cannabis product throughout the state of Oregon and assist with orders and fulfillment as needed
- Verify payments and materials from customers upon delivery
- Maintain an understanding of our products and be able to communicate with customers regarding the products
- Support all organizational goals to deliver exemplary customer service.
- Review invoices and product to ensure orders for accuracy
- Additional duties as assigned
What we look for
- Individuals with a passion for the cannabis industry METRC experience a plus
- Clean driving record and ability to qualify for company vehicle insurance.
- Marijuana Handler Permit must be acquired prior to start of employment
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations required for working in this industry
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk sit and kneel daily in retail and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and in some instances staircases
- Ability to push pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
- Ability to maintain focus and memory in environments with distractions such as heavy foot traffic background noise due to public conversations and the gathering of people etc.
- Absent conditions that would prevent the occasional use of PPE such as safety glasses masks etc.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle for several hours contiguously.
