Clinical Specialist Pelvic Health (Bank)

Salary: Up to 27.00 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Clinical Specialist Pelvic Health to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- Undertake expert assessment and treatment of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction urinary/fecal incontinence pelvic pain pre/postnatal conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualised evidence-based treatment plans including internal assessment biofeedback manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
- Act autonomously in clinical decision-making and management of a complex specialist caseload.
- Act as the clinical lead for pelvic health physiotherapy ensuring service quality consistency and alignment with best practice.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways patient education materials and outcome measures.
- Lead or contribute to quality improvement initiatives audits and service evaluation projects.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Extensive post-registration experience in womens mens and pelvic health physiotherapy.
- Recognised postgraduate training in pelvic health or continence physiotherapy.
- Advanced clinical reasoning assessment and treatment skills.
- Experience in service development teaching or supervision.
- Membership of the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) group or equivalent.
- Independent prescriber or training in injection therapy (if applicable to setting).
- Experience in private healthcare or specialist pelvic health clinics.
- Involvement in audit research or clinical guideline development.
