You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Program Coordinator III (Graduate Medical Education Training & Credentialing Coordinator) is responsible for facilitating activities associated with a specific complex program or group of complex programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling coordination of communication data management document preparation and process improvement. Supports development and maintenance of related tools policies training materials and methods/procedures for communication and coordination with internal teams external departments and community providers payers and agencies. Works in collaboration with the Program Manager and other program staff to help to implement the programs objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Partners with the program team to implement operational solutions. Responsible for ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and program staff. Facilitates interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective program operation and/or implementation. Oversees a moderate to high volume of complex work in support of the program. This level performs work under limited supervision with independent judgment required.
Create and maintain personnel files for all trainees containing sign-in sheets confidentiality agreements copies of licenses and other pertinent documents. Update documentation for every trainee and each of their rotations at SCH.
Conduct background checks on all non-UW trainees. Personnel files must meet DNV and accreditation standards.
Master Schedule: Create and maintain the Master Schedule used to coordinate orientations training and credentialing for 800 trainees rotating annually at SCH. Gather information by working with 40 visiting programs (UW
Virginia Mason etc.) and third-party databases (MedHub) to collect identification documentation and schedules required to on-board and verify trainee status.
Enter/update trainee information into Medical Staff Services PIMS database in order to maintain trainee rotation dates license numbers and contact information for every rotation at SCH. Grant privileges via PIMS so that patient care providers can reference said privileges on CHILD. Initiate and shepherd the SCH on-boarding process via the Human Resources NEAT system. Verify resident and fellow medical license status via the WSDOH website. Enforce the SCH medical license policy via regular communication with trainees and their programs. Work with IT Account Provision to generate network and EMR accounts for all residents and fellows. Coordinate with Transcription those trainees needing to be set up with dictation access. Troubleshoot basic access issues such as passwords not working locked EMR accounts premature expiration dates etc.
Communicate orientation schedules and enforce web-based training requirements to residents fellows and their coordinators. Track trainee completion of required modules in PIMS. Act as the first point of contact for all trainees and
home programs. Schedule and conduct orientation sessions for all residents and fellows. Communicate hospital policies (e.g. parking badge access safety systems etc.) Generate issue recover and recycle staff badges for all residents
and fellows via Securitys badging system. Administer access to the GME Call Rooms.
Communicate and enforce end-of-rotation polices (i.e. returning expiring badges). Work with partners in HR and IT to ensure that computer access badges etc. are terminated at the end of resident and fellow rotations. Remove
privileges from trainees to maintain a clean database.

The specialized tasks involve interpretation of policies procedures and regulations independent functioning and public contact. A program typically has a long-term focus with an expectation that the plan/program will serve or impact on-going needs or goals. The primary responsibilities and accountabilities are typically transferable from one program to another. The performance of administrative tasks are in support of the individuals performance specific to the program.
Compensation Range
$31.28 - $46.93 per hourSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
