General Summary of Position:
This being an internal opportunity only current UML Employees irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position.
The Instructional Technologist will collaborate with faculty in the use and integration of technology into the academic curriculum in order to enhance the learning process. The Instructional Technologist will partner with faculty and staff with the selection design and deployment of academic technology solutions to support teaching and learning. The portfolio of technologies includes: Personal Response Systems Clickers Lecture Capture Platform Smart Podiums video video conferencing platforms Learning Management Systems multi-media applications and mobile devices. Duties include identifying technology training needs of faculty and coordinating with the manager to develop and deliver training workshops. This position requires the development of documentation for faculty staff and students regarding the use of academic technologies.
