ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounts Payable Officer has

Ngala is seeking a committed and capable Accounts Payable Officer to oversee the Accounts Payable function and Fleet Coordination contributing to financial reporting through the completion of various monthly finance functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring accurate and timely invoice entries preparation of weekly and ad hoc bank payments including preparation of all end-of-month reports and reconciliations;
  • Reconciling supplier statements investigating and resolving any discrepancies or queries in a timely manner;
  • Coordinating the administration of fleet vehicles including vehicle changeovers and maintaining relevant documentation and schedules;
  • Supporting the preparation and delivery of documentation for the annual audit and any other required reporting.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience working in a not-for-profit healthcare or community services environment (desirable);
  • Relevant qualification in Accounting or bookkeeping;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar finance role with a focus on accounts payable transactional processing;
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines;
  • A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude.

The successful candidate will need to hold a current WA drivers licence and satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months and possess a working with childrens check.

While immunisations are highly encouraged they are not mandatory. This information will help us assess and implement appropriate safety measures for everyone.
