The Opportunity
In this permanent full time position you will lead a team of teachers and oversee the management of allocated courses and units within the higher education Diploma of Arts (including Education Studies) program with a strong focus on enhancing student outcomes.
As Team Leader you will drive contemporary teaching and learning practices oversee curriculum development and assessment in your discipline and implement strategies to create engaging learning experiences. Your efforts will support students in reaching their potential and achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies lesson structures and digital learning experiences;
Consistently seek out and apply innovative practices and technologies including AI to improve student learning;
Evaluate and adapt materials environments and assessments to ensure currency relevance and alignment with learning intentions;
Utilise data to inform course development and improvement integrating transition teaching concepts and authentic learning experiences.
Mentor colleagues in effective teaching assessment and belonging practices and lead a collaborative and inclusive culture;
Demonstrate expertise in assessment practices promoting contextualised and authentic assessments;
Champion academic integrity practices and encourage a culture of collaboration and
innovation.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally bring
Relevant work experience leading educational programs and courses in the Humanities disciplines;
Knowledge of current teaching and learning methods practices and developments;
Knowledge and application of a range of successful approaches to teaching learning and curriculum delivery;
A minimum of a Bachelor degree or Graduate Diploma in Education (preferred not essential)
