About the Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Archive of Indigenous Language Persistence (DAILP) is dedicated to creating a digital space for the recuperation and practice of indigenous languages. Our community-driven philosophy involves tribal community members in translating archival materials to document and practice indigenous languages. The DAILP team at Northeastern University has received grants from the National Archives National Endowment for the Humanities the Luce Foundation and the Mellon Foundation and seeks an Assistant Project Coordinator to help in the day-to-day management of grants and our external facing website. ( Digital Archive of Indigenous Language Persistence (DAILP) - College of Social Sciences and Humanities )

The DAILP Project Coordinator will maintain and regularly assess the overall project timeline grant project plan deliverable checklist and other essential aspects of fulfilling the Mellon grant. The Project Coordinator will coordinate with students and staff to track project schedules and milestones. The Project Coordinator will help maintain public facing material on a regular schedule social media posts website updates as well as maintain open and frequent lines of communication among Northeastern-based teamswith regular update meetings. The Project Coordinator will track the budget and process reimbursements invoices and honoraria payments to partners.

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities(CSSH) combines Northeastern Universitys signature approach to experiential learning with liberal arts education interdisciplinary research and community engagement both locally and globally.

The College comprises 17 academic units including two schools seven departments and eight interdisciplinary programs as well as 15 research centers and institutes. Expected Hiring Range:

$52820.00 - $74607.50

With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
