Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Hills & Dales Dubuque IA
Job Type: Full-Time Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
Hills & Dales is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat children and adults with developmental behavioral and sensory needs. This role supports clients in developing daily living fine motor sensory and vocational skills to promote independence.
Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and create individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy focused on fine motor sensory and daily living skills
Educate and support families in applying therapy techniques at home
Collaborate with physicians BCBAs school teams and others
Maintain detailed documentation and billing
Stay current with best practices in OT and developmental disabilities
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Licensed Occupational Therapist
3 years of experience in pediatric developmental autism and behavioral health
Strong clinical communication and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to assist with client mobility and transfers (up to 35 lbs)
Offer contingent upon the succressful completetion of a criminal background check dependernt adult and child abuse background check and drug screen.
