Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Base Manager (Associate) to join our team in Hazelwood MO.
Position Responsibilities:
Participates in managing supplier/subcontractor business relationships in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Gathers and reviews data for use in supplier performance evaluations
Identifies and communicates potential risks and issues
Provides support in the development of mitigation plans
Deploys operating authority to improve product delivery and quality performance
Supports the development and implementation of supplier project plans
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer Supplier Program Manager Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager or Supply Base Manager
1 years of experience managing supplier relationships and performing supplier technology evaluations
1 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher preferred but not required
4 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3 years experience functioning in a cross-functional environment
3 years experience working with Supplier Management and/or Supply Chain
3 years experience managing supplier relationships strategic partnerships and supplier performance
3 years experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
