Chapman Las Vegas Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is looking for skilled Used Car Reconditioning Technicians to join our team! The Used Car Reconditioning Technician is tasked with performing necessary maintenance and repairs on trade-ins and purchased vehicles for our pre-owned inventory ensuring vehicle safety mechanical dependability and cosmetic appearance.

Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of used cars to identify and document cosmetic and mechanical issues.
- Complete routine maintenance services such battery installations fluid top-offs oil changes etc.
- Complete minor cosmetic repairs such as paint touch-ups dent removal wheel refinishing etc.
- Perform light mechanical maintenance and repairs to vehicle systems including engine transmission suspension steering electrical etc.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and inform the Service Manager of any additional repairs or maintenance needed.
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs performed are compliant with safety environmental and dealership standards.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 1 year of related experience performing vehicle inspections routine maintenance and repairs.
- Emissions license and ASE certifications are strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems paired with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient work habits attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
This role offers 8-hour shifts between 7AM and 6PM on weekdays and every third Saturday from 8AM to 5PM. Our technicians enjoy a state-of-the-art climate-controlled shop.
