Job Title: Claims Adjuster Marine Hull & Cargo
Location: City of London Aldgate
Position Type: Permanent 35 hours p/w
Hybris: 3 days in the office 2 days working from home

Job Purpose:
To manage and handle Marine claims within the London Market Claims team. Reporting to the Claims Manager Marine in the day to day operation and control of the claims function to ensure that claims are processed and settled on a Timely and Equitable manner whilst constantly striving to develop and improve service and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing feedback to underwriters and management with regards to the structure of their claim issues and related risk information with the goal to improve the overall standard of underwriting in the company.
- Demonstrate that Lloyds minimum standards are being met at all times and be in a position to assist underwriters and claims adjusters to progress.
- Ensures all claims allocated are controlled within company philosophies and SLAs
- To be present at market meetings and conference calls when necessary.
- Ensures customers are treated fairly at all times.
- Ensures all complaint related issues and all such incidents are logged and concluded in accordance with company policy.
- Practices and promotes at all times Tokio Marine HCC core values to both internal and external contacts alike.
- Undertake any other ad hoc activities/project work required.
Skills and Experience Specification:
- Ideally 2 years Marine claims adjusting experience in the London Market.
- An excellent knowledge of ECF and the Lloyds Claims Schemes.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills are required as the duties of this role involves liaising with outsourcing partners negotiation and liaising with brokers loss adjusters and lawyers.
- Exceptional time management skills are essential and to be able to adapt quickly into the role.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.
- IT literate
- To have obtained or working towards ACII qualification
