What is the opportunity

The Senior Trade Administrator is responsible for reviewing and challenging the risk and control activities to ensure business units are compliant to internal risk and control framework. As a key member of the Transaction Management Team you will support delivery of Private Placement and change initiatives for Transaction Management cost effectiveness operational/administrative effectiveness and compliance to industry wide-conventions rules and regulations. This opportunity is well-suited to people who have a passion for problem solving possesses strong interpersonal and leadership skills and who enjoy working as part of ateam

What will you do

  • Act as liaison for the trading desk on any trade or settlement related issue
  • Monitor and ensure the timeliness of trade bookings and matching to minimize trading/operational and settlement risks
  • Real time reconciliation of trade submitted
  • Encourage accurate reporting and assist with problem resolution and metrics.
  • Monitor and resolve various error queues to ensure proper trade flow to the domestic platform.
  • Create and maintain analytical reports for trading desk risk management and compliance
  • Perform UAT testing for new products/trade flows as needed
  • Manage and oversee all Private Placement trade support functions
  • Implement effective control and planning with positive outcomes for the Transaction Management Transformation Teams portfolio including status & metrics reporting for visibility and transparency
  • Execute communication plans that meet the needs of the project/initiative and stakeholders
  • Ensure the effective management of appropriate controls for effective management of processes policies & procedure.

Must-have

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to identify manage and implement lasting change
  • Independent worker with strong organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-task effectively Self-starter with ability to adapt and contribute to a dynamic work environment
  • Extremely resilient and able to withstand a pressure when tight deadlines need to be adhered to
  • Confident in taking responsibility making recommendations and solving problems in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
