We are a respected multi-disciplinary rehabilitation service catering to the unique needs of people with neurological conditions. With a team of around 200 peoplewe provide the most comprehensive allied health services in our sector with innovative rehabilitation centres across Melbourne Hobart and Albury along with an extensive home visit and community-based service.

Supervision & Support - NeuroRehabs Occupational Therapy team have skilled senior clinicians team leaders & clinical manager whom are happy to support your growth and development.

Team member package - A base salary of $80000 - 120000pa depending on experience plus company vehicle option a work laptop and phone to separate work and play and an incentive payment structure to reward your efforts.

OccupationalTherapist at NeuroRehab
We are searching for a creative and confidentNeurological Occupational Therapistto join our supportive multidisciplinary team at ourHobartclinic based in Moonah. If you are an early career Occupational Therapistwith the desire to progress your career we absolutely have the ability to support in Hobart as our current team is made up of majority Senior Clinician OTs.
The position is ideal for applicants with full-time availability however applications with part-time availability or those seeking school-friendly hours are encouraged to apply.
The caseload will be working with the adult population and assisting people with traumatic brain injury stroke spinal cord injury MS cerebral palsy intellectual disability and a diverse range of other neurological conditions.
Clinical snapshot (depending on experience):
- Delivery of therapeutic services including OT assessmentsinterventions treatment planningeducation and reporting.
- Supervision of less experienced OTs.
- Contribution to screening of new referrals delegation of referrals to staff and clinical risk management planning
- Opportunities to participate inprojects and innovative service development for the Department and wider MDT.
- Hands-on with the recruitment process for new team members. If you have an eye for people and OT skills building the team is a rewarding experience!
- Prescription and funding requests of AT as required.
- Home modification assessments and requests.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team..

Skills And Experiences
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- 1 years of Occupational Therapy experience.
- Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.
Desirable
- Experience working within aNDIS framework.
- Familiarityknowledge and understanding of prescribinga range of assistive technology.
