Part-Time Preschool Facilitator - Lindbergh Early Childhood Education
- Part-time position20 hours/week
- Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00-12:00to follow 2025-2026 student calendar
- Beginning hourly rate:$16.79/hour -subject to experience
- Non-exempt

Summary:LECEPart-Time Preschool Facilitators work as the primary supporting role for the full day classroom teacher. As an important member of a classroom team facilitators work to support the socialand emotional growth and well being of all classroom students in order to maintain a safe and positive learning environment for preschool children 2-5 years of age. Persons interested in this position must be able to be flexible reliable positive communicate effectively as part of a team and take direction from the teacher.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating supporting and maintaining a welcoming compassionate climate that values every student
- Develop positive communication with building and classroom staff students and their families
- Build a partnership with families
- Model and promote respect and caring in relationships with children parents families colleagues and the school and district community
- Responsible for working as a team to build the social and emotional skills and well being of all students during the school day and in aftercare
- Utilize positive research-based strategies to guide students social behavior in a way that maintains an effective learning environment
- Responsible for the support and implementation of the current lesson plan or any verbal or written plans for classrooms and individual students to promote
- curiosity and a love of learning during the school day and in aftercare
- Lead part time staff in support of the goals of aftercare
- Maintain a clean safe organized and orderly learning environment
- Participate in ongoing professional learning through the LECE school community offerings
- Aware of all policies and procedures of Lindbergh Early Childhood Education and support their implementation
- Responsible for supervising students at both indoor and outdoor recess
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree
