Job Description
JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer II
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $28.75/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Assist with installations modifications and fabrication of electrical components and systems per blueprints worksheets and engineering drawings.
-
Maintain required logs and records.
-
Complete tasks within allotted time frame ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Verify work is defect-free prior to final inspection.
-
Adhere to FOD program tool control 5-S program and safety regulations.
-
Keep work area organized and clean.
-
Maintain shop equipment and tools.
-
Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two (2) years related work experience or an avionics certificate and one (1) year of related experience.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
-
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Computer skills and general software knowledge.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
