Job Description
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15232
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: Variable shift 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2600 $2800 (Based on experience Negotiable)
- Perform CT scans and general X-ray exams according to physician orders and established protocols
- Operate and maintain radiology and CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Verify patient identification and obtain necessary patient history
- Prepare contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services
- Ensure patient comfort safety and privacy throughout the imaging process
- Maintain proper documentation in PACS/RIS systems
- Follow infection control and radiation safety procedures
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required.
- Valid state license (PA) to obtain prior to start.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant experience in Radiology/CT.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
