Hybrid/Local Oracle/OCI Architect (15) with Cloud Ops Security Network VPN NIST PCI CJIS FedRAMP Jenkins Github Terraform Puppet and Splunk experience
Location: Richmond VA (VITA)
Duration: 12 Months
ON SITE: 4 days/week required
Skills:
Familiar with Cloud Native architecture paradigms patterns and security methodologies. Required 8 Years
Experience designing solutions within and working with the Oracle OCI environment Required 4 Years
Oracle OCI specific certifications (Cloud Ops Architecture Security etc) Required 4 Years
Experience working with cloud reference model models creating diagrams and other design documentation Required 8 Years
Experience with implementing migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. Required 8 Years
Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks VPN Subnets network security groups. load balancers etc. Required 8 Years
Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security and controls of an IT environment. Required 8 Years

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Assist with the design review and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings.
The position will work with customer agencies managed cloud suppliers as well as internal agency teams to ensure that architectures and environments provide efficient effective secure and compliant solutions based on best practices and well architected frameworks.
Documented experience with cloud architecture operations and management in a public cloud environment specifically Oracles OCI.
Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security of an IT environment.
At least 8 years of forward-thinking IT experience. 3 years of hands-on cloud technology experience (preferably with OCI). Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
Experience with implementing migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. College degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledgeable cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks VPN Subnets network security groups. load balancers etc.
Thorough understanding of customers priorities and the business criticality of platforms applications and services. Cloud certifications preferred within the Oracle OCI cloud environment.
