Job Title: Maintenance Planner Operations
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Waterloo IA 50704
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Duration: 2 Years (with possible extension)

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling ongoing and preventive maintenance for plant equipment and facilities. This includes receiving maintenance requests prioritizing tasks assigning duties to skilled trades personnel and managing parts and materials procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and assign jobs to maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and review maintenance procedures.
- Source and order required parts tools and materials.
- Track inventory and support cost-reduction efforts.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records aligned with OSHA/ANSI standards.
- Coordinate with vendors for recurring/non-recurring activities.
- Generate reports and support maintenance KPIs.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Office tools.
- Understanding of mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and operations environments.
- Knowledge of John Deere systems (preferred).
Qualifications:
- AA BA/BS or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology or Maintenance.
- 1 3 years experience in manufacturing maintenance or related fields.
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude for general plant maintenance.
- Comfortable with 30% on-floor presence.
- Valid drivers license to operate personal/company vehicles.
- Business casual dress code.
