This is a remote position.
Schedule: Flexible during client business hours (Brisbane AU time)
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile bank statements credit card transactions and client accounts in a timely manner.
Maintain and update financial records registers and databases to support current and future reporting needs.
Prepare and distribute routine financial reports including zero balance and outstanding items reports.
Manage the finance inbox respond to internal and external finance queries and provide assistance to stakeholders.
Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in reviewing and updating administrative systems and processes to enhance service delivery.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports such as income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Process accounts payable and receivable including invoice verification payment runs and reconciliation if required.
Provide coverage and support for senior finance roles as required.
Certificate Diploma or Degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1 2 years experience in a finance bookkeeping or accounts administration role.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Experience working in Australian finance environments (desirable but not essential).
