The Opportunity:
TRIOUpward Bound Program Coordinator will provide academic advising and support for program participants in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Program Coordinator will provide advice/assistance in high school/college course selections assistance withPSEapplication forms for admissions & financial aid providing information on colleges & financial aid and assistance in successful completion of high school. Other duties include but are not limited to event/trip planning and coordinating supervising high school students (may include overnight) collaborating with a team and making sureWSU& school policies are adhered to. The coordinator will also plan/coordinate/execute summer programming and other duties as assigned.

This is a full time (100% FTE) project position. This position is overtime eligible.
Project End Date: This is a project position expected to end on August 31 2027.
Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
Monthly Salary: $3665.00 - $4882.00 In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalentANDtwo years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Bachelors Degree & experience working with high school students.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English & Spanish.
Experience assisting with implementing federal/state student educational or college-readiness programs.
