Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift SIGN ON BONUS

We havetwo new openings and are adding a Production Supervisor for our 2nd and 3rd shift team. The person in this role will direct the department to ensure production and quality standards are met. Key results in this role include but are not limited to controlling of costs maintaining training records and performance evaluations and maintaining of safety record for the department. The ideal candidate is an organized analytical problem-solver with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversight for direct reports and safety of team.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and cost control of the group including scrap and rework improvements controls cost of manufacturing process prepares material and presents monthly meetings.
• Supervises employees including trains employees updates records writes and presents employee evaluations assists in hiring for department sets goals and tracks progress of department.
• Administers company policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Prior Supervisory and safety experience within a manufacturing or similar setting.
• Work and interact with all levels of employees while building trusting relationships
• Self-starter that is adept at taking initiative
• Understand and lead according to company philosophy
• Computer skills (MS Office)
• Basic financial understanding; Analysis critical thinking and investigation skills
