The Senior Client Strategist supporting Financial Services provides consultative and analytical services utilizing data and insights across a variety of sources to inform multi-channel marketing strategies. The objective: to achieve a variety of FI outcomes new households accounts mortgages HELOC/home equity and the acquisition of other products. Partners across multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation challenge the status quo and implement solutions and programs to advance priorities. Will provide strategic direction through analysis and insights to drive strategic plans to enable financial services clients can meet their stated goals. Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships with both internal and external teams. Serves as change agent championing agile ways of thinking and working to enable teams and individuals for success. Drives excellence in financial acumen communication (verbal written and presentation) business and strategic planning performance monitoring and reporting. Translates market developments into practical actionable insights by developing a compelling persuasive story point of view and determines relevant impacts to current and future strategy. Utilizes best-in-class expertise in data visualization and modeling to create compelling insights and storytelling in support of client priorities. Champions the implementation of innovative analytics tools to derive actionable insights from large financial services data sets. Applies understanding of market research and analysis of external market data sources to develop forecast models and scenario planning for clients. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the evolving financial services environment and translates insights to implications for Vericast clients strategy and business planning

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree (Required)
EXPERIENCE
Previous high level role in banking required (SVP CMO or CLO preferred)
7-10 years in FI Business Acumen- Both sides of Balance Sheet understanding how product drives the business- from a management perspective
Consulting background preferred
Understand Financial Statements and can interpret these into actionable strategies
An analytic mindset with the ability to develop metrics create reports interpret results and make appropriate recommendations; data driven with a focus on business results for projects undertaken
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to analyze data insights and translate these into compelling story telling beyond just the facts
Demonstrated understanding of compliance and risk requirements of the financial services industry
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills coupled with the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
Excellent collaboration organizational time management presentation and writing skills; ability to deliver clear direct and effective communication (written & orally) for public consumption
Diplomatic communicator skilled in saying no when appropriate; able to negotiate internally as well as with clients to ensure solutions can both address client needs and Vericast capabilities
Demonstrated proficiency running effective meetings facilitating large scale executive workshops and getting buy-in and participation from executive leaders
Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships with key stakeholders
Advanced computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Tableau)
Independent self-starter with proven ability to both identify and solve client or internal challenges
Entrepreneurial/flexible mindset unafraid to disrupt status quo while maintaining relationships
Strong servant leadership mentality with the proven ability to identify and meet the needs of clients and customers at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to identify opportunities that create value propositions
Desire to learn more of the trends shaping consumer behavior today and in the future
Strong organizational interpersonal and project management skills
Open to travel as necessary
Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic and agile environment
Must demonstrate ability and desire to continuously learn and keep up to date on market industry and professional developments
This position reports to the VP Vertical Strategy Sales and requires significant travel (50%) to meet with clients in person. While officially remote the role demands regular face-to-face interaction with clients and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.
Additional Information :
Base Salary Range: $170000 - $200000
Position is eligible for a sales incentive/commission program.
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level cost of living experience and responsibilities.
