We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master to lead and support cross-functional teams fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement. This role involves embedding agile methodologies coaching teams on the effective application of agile values principles and practices and driving alignment with business objectives to ensure the successful delivery of outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of delivery combining technical acumen with hands-on experience in applying Scrum across diverse scenarios. They will be responsible for the leadership management and performance of a multidisciplinary engineering team including software engineers testers and business analysts. Additionally the role will contribute to building team capability and capacity within their area of technical expertise.
What youll be doing:
- Leading a cross-functional team in delivering key products and platforms applying the Scrum framework to foster collaboration and value-driven outcomes
- Facilitating essential Scrum ceremonies including release and sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews (show & tell) backlog refinement and retrospectives
- Identifying and managing team-level impediments minimizing distractions and establishing clear escalation paths to support the achievement of sprint goals.
- Ensuring transparency and visibility by tracking reporting and radiating delivery metrics to relevant stakeholders
- Advocating for modern engineering practices such as test-driven development pair programming automated testing and continuous delivery to enhance quality and reliability
- Supporting and promoting agile development methodologies actively contributing to the continuous improvement of team processes and practices
- Coaching and mentoring team members on agile values principles and practices to cultivate a high-performing collaborative environment
- Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment across technical and business domains
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- An experienced professionally certified Scrum Master who has helped transition and coach teams in applying the Scrum framework and agile practices
- Experience on leading and shaping agile teams operating in a scaled Agile environment (e.g. SAFE)
- Desirable to have experience working with a mix of fully dedicated and partially aligned resource in engineering teams. Experience as an agile evangelist helping to evolve the culture of an organisation.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring diverse teams and senior stakeholders in the Scrum framework and desirable to have experience of other agile tools practices and systems such as Kanban
- Experience in motivating high performing teams fostering and culture of continuous improvement failing forwards and learning to improve future success
- Experience of working with remote virtual and cross functional teams conducting virtual ceremonies (events) using digital collaboration tools
