Quality Assurance Specialist
Shoreview MN Contract (6 months possibility to extend or get hired) $27 - 31/hr
Konik is partnering witha well-established employee-owned manufacturing company that supports a wide range of industrial and OEM customers. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality safety and compliance at a fast-paced facility.
Quality Assurance SpecialistResponsibilities:
Develop and implement procedures to ensure product quality and safety standards.
Conduct routine quality audits on the production floor.
Assist in drafting SOPs and quality-related documentation.
Coordinate third-party and internal quality system audits.
Administer corrective and preventive action programs.
Complete customer documentation such as First Articles Control Plans FMEAs PPAPs and Capability Studies.
Ensure proper calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
Drive improvements in site testing and inspection capabilities.
Support management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance SpecialistQualifications:
5 years of experience in quality assurance or industrial manufacturing.
Bachelors degree preferred (Quality Engineering or related field); equivalent experience considered.
Strong knowledge of lean principles ISO standards and auditing practices.
Skilled in root cause analysis (e.g. 5 Whys).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
