The Opportunity:

QBE Europe is recruiting for a Third Party Resilience Specialist for a 6 month fix term contract to join our well-established risk and resilience team.

In the role you will be responsible for ensuring robust third-party resilience practices are continually developed including third party contingency plans and testing. Additionally you will support the wider team in driving resilience activities across the organisation. You will champion practical resilience solutions to support the business implement test and enhance resilience capabilities.

Your New Role:

  • Lead in maturing the approach to third party resilience and testing. Ensuring third party exit and contingency plans continually develop and undertake tests to prove effectiveness and identify vulnerabilities.

  • Support testing of continuity and resilience plans to ensure the business can respond effectively to disruptions.

  • Support the wider resilience programme of business analysis planning and governance.

  • Act as a subject matter expert providing effective guidance and advice on operational resilience regulations.

  • Engage with internal customers to enhance delivery and drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage business continuity and operational resilience tools to maximise benefits including streamlining processes.

  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge and skill relevant to frameworks through personal development.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement motivation and collaboration within the team

About you:

  • Experience in financial services essential insurance is preferential.

  • Sound Business Continuity and Operational Resilience management experience including experience in relation to third party resilience.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and at pace to achieve the 6 month deliverables.

  • Experience in a business facing role with proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders including navigating difficult conversations.

  • Proven experience of handling data and producing operational documentation in a structured coherent and efficient manner for various audiences

  • Proven ability to review understand and interpret documents.

  • Proven experience of working effectively with all levels throughout the organisation

  • Sound experience of evidenced based control development and execution.
