About the role
Ramboll has ambitious growth plans in the UK and its thriving UK HQ in London is central to this. Ramboll aspires to grow their multi-disciplinary UK Buildings team by 30% over the next few years. Further strengthening and growing our senior project leadership and work winning capability in the residential sector in London is central to those plans.
As our new Residential Building Services Director you will possess extensive knowledge of the design of building services in large and complex residential buildings the Building Safety Act and its application to residential design (particularly high-rise residential design) designing for performance and sustainable design. These skills will allow implementation of the strategy within Ramboll but more importantly to our clients.
Ramboll are commissioned to design exciting and iconic residential projects. Our new Director will have the experience and skills to lead these projects as the most senior member of Ramboll staff. Proven experience of successful residential project delivery of both building services projects and multidisciplinary projects is crucial.
Joining the established London Buildings senior leadership team you will support with team management growth and development financial performance client relationships and business development.
You will join our multi-disciplinary Commercial and Residential Service Line
We have recently restructured of our global Buildings business into a sector-focused multi-disciplinary organisational structure. Our commercial and residential (Cities) service line encompasses our multidisciplinary teams (Building Service structures Project/Design Managers Vertical Transportation) working across our UK private development project pipeline; specifically in the commercial offices / workplace residential higher education retail hotels culture and sports and leisure sectors.
We are specifically looking to now enhance the existing local leadership team to further influence our project technical and commercial leadership in the residential sector as well as on engagement and work winning with new and existing residential clients and collaborators.
