Job Description

As the Lead Contract and Performance you will guide the delivery of innovative service initiatives drive continuous improvement and ensure programs transition successfully into long-term sustainable practice.

  • Full time (1.0 FTE) Permanent role
  • Remuneration: $89184.51 - $111200.77 12% superannuation generous NFP salary packaging options up to $18550.
  • Location - 737 Bourke Street Docklands Victoria 3008 Close to Southern Cross Train Station Onsite or Hybrid; WFH options available.

Short description about the role

Reporting to the Manager Contract and Performance the Lead Contract and Performance will be part of the Service Development and Reform team providing high-level program management support related to mental health.

The Lead will engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes monitor program performance and evaluate impact. This includes coordinating activities across internal stakeholders supporting workforce capability efforts and contributing to continuous quality improvement through statewide communities of practice.

  • Lead daily project tasks to roll out integrated mental health services including procedural design and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate internal and external program reviews and contribute to data-driven evaluation processes.
  • Support system-wide reporting improvements to track performance outcomes and risks against agreed targets.
  • Provide leadership coaching and wellbeing support to direct reports while fostering team learning and growth.

About you:

  • Understanding of the Australian primary health care system including the intersections between primary and tertiary care the role of the State and Commonwealth and the role of PHNs as commissioners.
  • Confidence and experience interacting with external stakeholders and bringing multiple sectors together to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  • A collaborative leadership style providing professional development for shaping a high-performance team.
  • High project management and report writing skills ability to work autonomously Experience in hospital primary care or other health care delivery settings would be preferred
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to form effective professional relationships and networks with a broad range of stakeholders across all levels.
