MOKA is hiring enthusiastic positive and customer-focused baristas to join our team at our Madison West Side locations (University Avenue Mineral Point and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Bookstore). As a barista you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages building relationships with customers and working in a collaborative team-focused environment.

Full and part-time positions available. The idealcandidate for this job is an individual who has a positive energy loves interacting with guests and making their day better and has a passion for great coffee.

The University Avenue location is currently looking for mid-morning to early afternoon availability.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Bookstore is currently looking for late morning to early afternoon availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages teas and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Ensure consistent quality in every cup paying attention to details such as temperature presentation and taste
• Provide excellent customer service greeting and assisting customers with their orders and offering recommendations
• Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders while following safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace including regular cleaning of equipment and restocking supplies
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive work environment
