Job Summary:
The Physician Liaison will use key strategies techniques and tools to engage and communicate to new physicians and provide assistance in community and physician-to-physician introductions all in compliance with applicable regulations. Analyze and report team activities and referral trends. Executes the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward the community.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area
- Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians payers patients and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers
Knowledge & Abilities
- Knowledge of concepts of marketing communications and public relations.
- Knowledge of the health care field and orthopedics neurology physical therapy etc.
- Knowledge of healthcare electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal andexternal customers and providers
- Ability to be organized
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
Skills
- Skill in the development and implementation of marketing lectures/talks.
- Skill in promoting the organization in the community
- Skill in executing special events
