Under the direction of US Army Cadet Command (in accordance with Cadet Command Regulation 145-2) and that of the High School Principal the Instructors command and supervise a four-year Army JROTC Program which constitutes and elective subject for high school grades 9 through 12. The Instructors are responsible for the coordination logistics supervision and teaching within the program. The curriculum focuses on citizenship character and leadership development with a strong emphasis on keeping students in high school through graduation. Additional emphasis is placed on teaching skills necessary to succeed at the post-secondary education level. JROTC is not a recruiting forum. Applications will be considered based on qualifications experience and appropriate Vermont Agency of Education licensure (for permanent positions).Eligibility for permanent hire is below per Army requirements.
