Job Description
Full Time Division Merchandise Manager
The Division Merchandise Manager is responsible for the overall management of a division of merchandise. This includes developing and implementing merchandising plans managing inventory and working with vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail industry as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans for assigned division
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that products are in stock
- Work with vendors to negotiate prices and terms
- Monitor sales and trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Lead and motivate a team of merchandisers
- Communicate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of merchandise
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business or a related field
- 5 years of experience in retail merchandising
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the retail industry
