Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm; some evenings & weekends required
Job Summary:The Event Associate performs various duties in support of events on campus.
Required Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience working with events.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. drivers license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge:Ability to present professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail. Multitasking skills. Ability to learn quickly. Highly responsible and not easily frustrated. Ability to stand for long hours and carry up to 50 pounds at times. Ability to perform manual manipulations such as addressing numerous invitations or gift preparations. Team player that takes initiative and can handle stressful situations at times.
Preferred Qualifications:ServSafe Certified. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign.
