Purpose
The Production Team Leader is responsible for coordinating all areas of the production processes including: storage data processing reporting handling of production materials all technical maintenance and operation of equipment preparation and handling of shipment monitoring of production processes quality control and implemented post-control improvements as well as all supporting activities.
The Production Team leader is responsible for compliance with health and safety and fire protection rules and the principles of safety of production processes in accordance with the procedures in force at the Company level and for maintaining an appropriate level of productivity of all production employees in the area assigned to him by the Manager.
In addition the Production Team leader as part of his work has the task of:
- ensuring the proper performance of the tasks entrusted to him in a timely manner and with the highest quality standards;
- Supervising newly hired employees for the assigned production areas in the process of training and annual employee evaluation.
Key Missions
- Coordinating the work of the assigned production team motivating team members ensuring the productivity of the team
- Participating in the process of information flow in the company providing team members with important and up-to-date information about their work and the Manager
- Cross-teams cooperation (IT Security Account Managers Local Technical Support)
- Flexible and capable to integrate partners requests into the production process
- planning both in the case of routine activities and in the case of special needs of the company while maintaining the highest quality of the product
- Monitoring production flows with the use of available indicators thus ensuring the achievement
- of specific goals
- Maintaining and increasing productivity initiating and implementing improvements in consultation with the management and employees of other areas
- Ensuring Lean Manufacturing practices are applied into the production flow
- Ensuring the safety and efficiency of all employees assigned to the coordinated production area
- Assigning objectives monitor and evaluate the performance of the team
- Ensuring the safety of devices in the assigned production area
- Enforcing compliance with all company procedures
- Ensuring effective communication between the Management and Employees
- Employee training
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace in accordance with the 5S protocol adopted by the Company
- Hands-on approach: performing if needed some of the duties assigned to Production Operators
- Report and implement ideas about possible savings in operating costs
- Performing other tasks ordered by superiors or resulting from the existing situations
- Maintain a good atmosphere at work and good relations with colleagues
Profile & Other Information
- Experience in team coordination
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six sigma
- Ability to manage conflicts
- Hands-on approach
- Flexibility towards customer and internal stakeholders demands
