Could you be the full-time EHS Manager in LOCATION were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your safety and environmental expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside passionate and collaborative teammates.
Youll ensure a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors while minimizing environmental impacts. Day-to-day youll work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Human Resources Manufacturing Platform Finances) guide EHS engineers and collaborate with external stakeholders like local authorities and auditors and much more.
Youll specifically take care of deploying Alstoms EHS standards and tools but also supporting project management in achieving EHS performance.
Well look to you for:
Ensuring EHS risk assessments are conducted and appropriate risk control measures are implemented
Preparing implementing and maintaining emergency plans at the project level
Overseeing the EHS performance of subcontractors and ensuring compliance with Alstoms standards
Providing coaching and support to EHS teams in projects
Monitoring compliance with statutory regulatory contractual and company requirements
Facilitating incident investigations reporting and root cause analysis
Preparing and submitting monthly EHS reports and ensuring data accuracy
Building and executing an EHS communication and training plan

University degree in Engineering or Business
Health & Safety Qualification recognized by local authorities
Professional experience of 5-8 years with at least 3 years in Environment Health & Safety
Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
Familiarity with local legal EHS requirements
Experience in projects (railway experience is a plus)
EHS auditing skills
Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
Analytical thinking and a rigorous mindset
Proficiency in continuous improvement tools and computer skills
