Clinical Services Officer

  • Band 8 - $120908 per annum 12% superannuation
  • Full time ongoing opportunity
  • Melbourne based role (hybrid work from home 3 days a week in office)

About the opportunity

We are currently seeking aClinical Services Officerto join ourPartners & Providersteam within theHealth & Recoverydivision of WorkSafe Victoria for this ongoing opportunity.

This is a key role responsible for managing the coordination and performance of our Clinical Panel a group of experienced allied health and medical professionals delivering clinical reviews and advice across the scheme. The Clinical Services Officer is also responsible for coordinating the planning development implementation and monitoring of initiatives related to the Clinical Panel activity.

As a Clinical Services Officer you will:

  • Coordinate the recruitment training scheduling contract and performance management of clinical panel members
  • Support and motivate panel members to deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical reviews
  • Monitor and report on review trends identifying issues or anomalies
  • Manage operational queries complaints and issues related to the panel
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective clinical processes
  • Lead the planning and implementation of improvement initiatives and tools
  • Provide project management support including planning reporting and risk management
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems tools and work practices
