- Band 8 - $120908 per annum 12% superannuation
- Full time ongoing opportunity
- Melbourne based role (hybrid work from home 3 days a week in office)
About the opportunity
We are currently seeking aClinical Services Officerto join ourPartners & Providersteam within theHealth & Recoverydivision of WorkSafe Victoria for this ongoing opportunity.
This is a key role responsible for managing the coordination and performance of our Clinical Panel a group of experienced allied health and medical professionals delivering clinical reviews and advice across the scheme. The Clinical Services Officer is also responsible for coordinating the planning development implementation and monitoring of initiatives related to the Clinical Panel activity.
As a Clinical Services Officer you will:
- Coordinate the recruitment training scheduling contract and performance management of clinical panel members
- Support and motivate panel members to deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical reviews
- Monitor and report on review trends identifying issues or anomalies
- Manage operational queries complaints and issues related to the panel
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective clinical processes
- Lead the planning and implementation of improvement initiatives and tools
- Provide project management support including planning reporting and risk management
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems tools and work practices

About You
Were looking for someone who brings a combination of health and compensation sector experience strong coordination skills and a collaborative mindset.
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification in a health or related field or equivalent experience in the health or compensable market
- Experience managing or supporting clinical teams or healthcare programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyse clinical or health-related data and trends
- A proven track record in planning and delivering programs or projects
- An understanding of compensable schemes and healthcare systems is desirable
- Excellent prioritisation planning and organisational skills
