Job Description

As a Service Advisor you will own our customers experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings inventory needs technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service retail sales restaurant industry or hospitality.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers upon entry to the service drive
  • Communicate with customer to determine the nature of mechanical issues
  • Obtain accurate customer and vehicle data
  • Maintain & manage customers requests regarding all topics concerning their vehicles & warranties
  • Manage the path of each customers vehicle throughout the promised time period given
  • Communicate and update the customer on estimates approvals & completion of repairs
  • Establish each customers payment method & obtain approval of credit if necessary
  • Complete closure to the customer at the end of the process
  • Follow up after customer visit to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process & appointments
  • Analyze quality control report to ensure that work is complete as request to reduce comebacks
  • Establish & maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat & referral business
  • Ensure that work areas & customer waiting areas are kept clean
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six-months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Ability to read analyze & interpret technical procedures
  • Ability to write reports business correspondence & procedure manuals
  • Effectively present information & respond to questions from managers & customers
  • Basic mathematical skills & reasoning ability
  • Customer service computer & organizational skills
  • Current valid drivers license & satisfactory MVR
