Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining plant equipment in line with good engineering & reliability practices for the Columbus site. They will drive excellence in maintenance key performance indicators such as overall equipment effectiveness mean time failure and schedule compliance. The Maintenance Manager will ensure a high level of safety discipline is exhibited with the roles span of control.
They will work in close cooperation with the HSE Manager & Production Managers to ensure optimized performance of the site. This job includes training and development of personnel managing the sites maintenance functions & small capital projects. The incumbent will keep a working knowledge of and fairly administrate the collective bargaining agreement while also ensuring proper application of OSHA EPA DOT DHS ISO and corporate governance.
In your future role as Maintenance Manager you will
- Act as a key participant in developing & implementing objectives for the site:
- Facilitate preparation of annual maintenance budget
- Lead to achieve continually improved performance in OEE MTBF Wrench Time schedule compliance etc.
- Ensure professional development of maintenance team members
- Facilitate PM/PdM/MTBF programs & analysis
- Lead troubleshooting activities as required to support plant maintenance
- Proactively seek & implement cost improvement opportunities
- Manage all aspects of the Maintenance Department
- Act as Permit to Work (PTW) auditor
- Act as Level 2 PTW Approver
- Act as Safety Role Model
We believe you bring
- A technical degree (preferably in mechanical engineering)
- 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing plant maintenance and/or project management
- Physical requirements: must be able to access the entire site intended for personnel presence. The work environment requires walking inspecting climbing stairs & climbing ladders in an industrial setting with outside weather conditions.
- This position may require individual to comply with Nouryon RBPS 12 Corporate CFATS Personnel Surety Compliance Policy for Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards depending on the work area or activities within the plant.
