You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Director of Conference and Events; you will be the main contact at the hotel for the Wedding and Social markets. You will be responsible for securing and managing all Weddings Social and Charity events from potential clients as well as assist with corporate bookings as needed. You will proficiently manage events to run smoothly whilst tailoring your approach to create memorable moments for every client. This role will be a key contributor to the overall MICE budget.
The role will leverage existing relationships with key suppliers to drive new opportunities for each sector to maximize revenue potential and build the hotel profile through social media and other 3rd party distribution channels.
This role requires a confident self-motivated sales professional who thrives on driving results independently and is excited by the opportunity to showcase the newly refurbished $70 million Sofitel Wentworth as Sydneys premier destination for weddings and social events
