Your Role
As aSupport Worker at Adele House you will be at the heart of delivering vital support to residents guiding them through entry assessments and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the site.
Youll collaborate closely with our AOD casework inclusion and counselling teams to provideholisticperson-centered care ensuring residents receive the best possible support on their journey to recovery.
Your Responsibility
- Supporting clients in a respectful non-judgmental and inclusive manner.
- Helping clients implement their case plans and connect to essential services.
- Contributing to the safety and well-being of staff clients and visitors by upholding WHS and risk management practices.
- Facilitating client activities maintaining accommodation standards and supporting daily operations.
- Attending regular team meetings and ensuring accurate record-keeping
You Will Need
- Minimum Cert IV in Community Services or relevant experience (or currently pursuing tertiary studies).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in crisis management with sound judgment in emergency situations.
- Strong computer literacy particularly in data collection systems.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including day afternoon and sleepover shifts.
- NSW Drivers Licence
